To the best of my knowledge we have no information for Franziska von Karma, Kristoph Gavin, Klavier Gavin, Shi-Long Lang, Simon Backquill, Manfred von Karma, Mia Fey, Pearl Fey, Byrne Faraday, Callisto Yew,  Yumihiko Ichiyanagi  | Sebastian Debeste, Bansai Ichiyanagi | Blaise Debeste, Bobby Fullbright, Justine Courtney, any of the Paynes, the Judge, the Judge’s Canadian Brother, or Godot.

However, based on their personalities and their relationships with other characters, I hypothesize the following:

• Pearl Fey is Team Ladder due to Maya’s influence. 
  
• Mia Fey is Team Stepladder, and she passed her values on to her protogé, Phoenix. 
• Mia and Maya are on separate teams because Mia has spent more time in metropolitan areas, and also sometimes siblings need something to argue over for no reason. See also: Apollo and Trucy.
• Speaking of siblings, Franziska is on Team Stepladder simply because Miles Edgeworth is on Team Ladder.
• Miles Edgeworth is not on his father’s team due to Manfred von Karma. As part of his revenge on Gregory, Manfred wanted to make Miles into the exact opposite of Gregory in every way. Since Manfred is nothing if not thorough (I mean, he retrained a parrot just in case), this included the Ladder/Stepladder dispute. 
• Bobby Fullbright is Team Ladder because that’s where the other detectives are. It’s part of the union contract.
• Lang himself doesn’t take a side on this issue, but he knows which side each of his 100 subordinates is on.
• Callisto Yew changes sides.
• Kristoph may say he’s on one side, but could we really believe him?
• Klavier Gavin is on whichever side you are, babe. 
• Yumihiko | Sebastian is on whichever team someone last told him was “the best”.

Klavier would be on team stepladder to annoy both Ema and Apollo, look into your heart.
